What we collect
Your name, email, date of birth (optional), the chapters you write, the photos you upload, and the voice notes you record. We also collect basic usage data so we can keep the product working.
How we use it
We use your content to show your book back to you, generate AI drafts and questions, transcribe voice notes, and produce printed copies you order. That's it.
Who sees your stories
By default: only you. People you invite as contributors can submit memories — those go into a review queue you control. Share links you generate are public to anyone with the link until you revoke them.
AI processing
We send your prompts and drafts to our AI provider to generate suggestions. The provider doesn't train on your data.
Service providers
We use trusted partners to host your data, process payments (Stripe), print books (Lulu), and send transactional email. Each handles data only on our instructions.
Your rights
You can export everything as JSON from Settings. You can delete your account, which removes your data from our active systems within 30 days. Backups roll off within 90 days.
Children
Forever Storied isn't for children under 16.
